We set out to begin a new stage in #PolleraPantal\u00f3n, building bridges to other entrepreneurs throughout Argentina. After three successful missions abroad, we began a mission to one of the productive hearts of our country: Azul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first stop on the trip for the eight representatives of Pollera Pantal\u00f3n was school No. 9, located in the Paraje Manantiales de Pereda at Km 323 of Route 3. There we were received by Mayor Hern\u00e1n Bertellys and by Ver\u00f3nica Torassa, president of the Civil Association Azul Solidario. At this meeting point, we were able to meet many entrepreneurs from the interior of Azul, who came from different corners of the district, to participate in the annual Meeting of Rural Women. A true celebration that has been held for 12 years, which aims to make visible and recognize the function and contribution of rural women in the Party, playing a fundamental role in local roots and development. We were able to talk and learn valuable testimonies from women who are a key part of the productive framework of Azul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The second stop on our trip took us to Estancia El Mirador, owned by Caba\u00f1a Las Blancas. In these fabulous fields, owned by Alberto Guil, we saw first-hand the production of Angus, an activity that began in 1985.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the afternoon, we entered the Hotel Elena, a beautiful Italian villa from the 20th century, a trace of the immigration that left its mark on this city located in the Argentine Pampas. And just as we strengthened ties with the women of the town, we also delved into history. We continued with a tour of the history of Azul, also known as Callv\u00fa Leov\u00fa, such as its historical name. From its foundation, as a fort against the raids by Juan Manuel de Rosas, to becoming the headquarters of the largest collection of Don Quixote de la Mancha in the country: museums, architectural gems and a century-old park. We were dazzled by the Archangel San Gabriel, a monumental work by Francisco Salamone, which questions the entrance to the cemetery of Azul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the evening we shared a dinner and experiences in an enriching moment with entrepreneurial women from Azul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During our second day in Azul, we visited YPF Luz\u2019s Los Teros Wind Farm, where we learned a lot about renewable energy in a project that involves an investment of up to 1.44 billion dollars. Then we continued with our historical tour of the Trappist Monastery and had lunch at \u201cEl Viejo Almac\u00e9n\u201d in Paraje Pablo Acosta, where we learned about a unique family business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
