Skirt Pants in India

With our minds and eyes wide open, we begin a new mission of Pollera Pantalón. This unique experience and getting to know the largest democracy in the world, on a journey full of learning and growth, in a country vibrant with history and spirituality

Day 1 – Arrival in Delhi

The first destination of this 2024 mission was Delhi, the capital territory of India, a huge metropolitan area in the north of the country. We visited the sprawling Jama Masjid mosque, whose courtyard can seat 25,000 people. This place reminds us of the importance of peace, diversity and the connection between cultures, values that we carry in our hearts as part of our mission.

Towards the end of the day, we had the honour of joining the Diwali tradition, the festival of lights, sharing this unique experience with a local family. There we participated in the Puja ceremony in honor of Lakshmi Ji and Ganesh Ji, surrounded by spirituality, gratitude and unity. This experience allowed us to strengthen our mission of building cultural and learning bridges between women.

Days 2 and 3 – Visit to the Taj Mahal and historical monuments

Day 4 – “India: Key economic, political and innovation trends”

We participated in the seminar “India: main economic, political and innovation trends” organized by the Argentine Embassy in India.

The event, held at the Delhi Golf Club, featured the participation of prominent figures:
  • Ms. Charu Pragya – Member of the BJP, addressed the economic and political trends that are shaping India’s present and future.
  • Ms. Neha Thakur from SCS Tech India, presented the advances in innovation and technology, key aspects in the development of the country.
  • Mr. Amit Kumar from the Indian Forum for Science Diplomacy, explored the challenges and opportunities in science and technology.
This event strengthened our commitment to leadership and development at a global level, building an innovative and sustainable future.

Day 5 – Skirt Pants with ASSOCHAM

We are part of a key day in our Mission India 2024, promoting connections between Argentina and India in the business and investment fields.

The meeting began with welcoming remarks by Basudev Mukherjee, Deputy Secretary General of ASSOCHAM, followed by a presentation by Ananya Anand, Investment Specialist at Invest India, who gave us an overview of the Indian economy and its investment opportunities. At Pollera Pantalón we remain committed to the exchange of experiences and the strengthening of ties between Argentina and India.

Day 6 – Signing of memorandum

On the sixth day of our Mission India 2024, we at the Pollera Pantalón delegation signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the chamber of industry in India.

This agreement represents a unique opportunity to strengthen ties and build bridges between Argentina and India, promoting joint initiatives and opening new paths for sustainable development. We are proud to move towards a future of shared growth.

Day 7 – The Mission in Mumbai

After our arrival in Mumbai we had a very enriching meeting with ASSOCHAM, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

We delve into topics of logistics, technology and food, with the aim of building bridges, creating links and promoting agreements in various industries. At Pollera Pantalón we move towards new opportunities and connections, working so that the impact of our actions is felt in every corner.

We also had the opportunity to meet with Pharmexcil, where they gave us an in-depth look at the Indian pharmaceutical industry. They presented us with the progress of their medicines in the world and their growing penetration in Latin America, as well as analyzing the potential for trade relations with Argentina.

India stands out as a global leader in the pharmaceutical sector, bringing innovation and accessibility worldwide. We take away great learnings and opportunities to drive synergies in this key sector.
