We arrived in Spain with an agenda full of events, meetings and opportunities to share experiences.

Day 1 – Embassy of the Argentine Republic in Spain

A very special visit to the Embassy of the Argentine Republic in Spain. 🇦🇷🇪🇸

It was an honor to be received by the Mr. Argentine Ambassador in Madrid, Mr. Ricardo Luis Alfonsín, together with Minister Maria Paula Mac Loughlin and an economic attaché.

We discussed bilateral relations and strengthened ties. A fruitful meeting!

Day 2 – Madrid Chamber of Commerce

We met with Eva Serrano Clavero (@evaserranoclavero), 1st Vice President of the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, at the chamber headquarters.

It was inspiring to share this space with leading businesswomen and prominent figures in public administration.

Day 3 – Telefónica World Headquarters in Madrid

Trinidad Jiménez and Ana Belén Pociña They guided us through a talk on sustainability and we shared a lunch full of ideas.

More than 10,000 m2 dedicated to innovation and talent development. We talk about digitalization and its impact on sustainability.

Then, we visited the newspaper “El Debate” in the company of Bleito Rubido, his Liver. We met with the talented journalistic team to discuss the current political situation in Spain.

Day 4 – Visits to the Fake News Exhibition, Casa de las Américas and Brownie

We visited the exhibition “Fake News, the Factory of Lies”, which took us on a journey through the centuries, exploring fake news and its impact on our current society.

Then, at an inspiring lunch in the Casa de América's Dining Room, we were welcomed Fazia Pusterla, representative for Europe of the Inter-American Development Bank. Enriching conversations on development and international cooperation.

At the end of the third day, we were able to learn “Brownie” by Mercedes Ortega, a visionary businesswoman. Founded in 2007 by Mercedes and Juan Morera, Brownie has become a benchmark for young and feminine fashion in Barcelona.

Based in the Catalan capital, this family business employs 500 people and is part of the Brownie Textile Group.

Day 5 – 42M Telefónica Foundation E42

Inspiring day at 42M Telefónica Foundation E42.

We met Joan Cruz, our host, and we discovered that E42 is much more than a programming school. It is a philosophy, a revolution that challenges the paradigms of education.

At 42, students are the protagonists of their own learning.

Day 5 – ISEM Fashion Business School and Telefónica Foundation

We explore the exciting world of fashion at ISEM Fashion Business School (@isemfbs), the first business school specializing in fashion companies in Spain.

Then, on a day of innovation at Fundación Telefónica – @wayraWith Natalia Moreno and Andrés Saborido, we explored the entrepreneurial ecosystem and met disruptive startups. Wayra opens doors to technological innovation!

Day 6 – Zarzuela Hippodrome

We went to the Zarzuela Hippodrome where we learned about their incredible career and management model. Thanks to our host Maritcha Ruiz Mateos, President of the Hippodrome, for receiving us!
